Carnival Focuses on Health and Wellness of the Whole Child

On April 28 Holliday Montessori hosted its first ever Health Carnival. It was the dream of Principal Barlow to see the students take their fun to another level, implementing health and wellness with the focus of taking care of the whole child. The fair was well attended with nearly 300 people.

The fair offered bounce houses, a MAP letter writing station, rock painting, Children’s Mercy with Fit Tastic, and the HyVee Healthy You dietician truck. Some families won gift cards donated by school partners and they were even given a healthy lunch. It was an overall great event.
