We are excited to bring principals, school liaisons / key staff, and community partners together once again for the Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools Partnership Kickoff.
Last year ended strongly with partners banding together to meet the needs of students, their families, and school staff in the midst of all of the challenges the school year presented. We will celebrate all that was achieved last school year while welcoming plans for this fall as students return to school.
- Dr. Anna Stubblefield, new KCKPS Superintendent, will have extended time to share with you her vision for 2021-22 and to discuss the vital role that community partners play in serving schools in Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools.
- Lisa Garcia-Stewart, Director of Student Services, and Rosie Rodriguez, Coordinator of Student Services, will discuss volunteering at schools. Both Ms. Garcia-Stewart and Ms. Rodriguez also serve as Caring for Kids District Liaisons.
- Half of our Kickoff time will be spent in partnership breakouts, where you will learn principal goals and begin planning projects for the upcoming school year.
